I am alive and awake.  My mind is clear.  I am not afraid.  Things are going well.  I have friends and family, a nice home, interesting work.  I am healthy in body, mind , and spirit.  I have direction, goals, and the means to achieve them.  People respect my judgement, listen to what I have to say.  I feel confident, optimistic, pleased and satisfied.  I feel peace, love, joy, and happiness.  I have adventures, and am learning new things all the time.  I have financial security, due to my good fortune, intellect, and work ethic.  With excellent prospects, I have the potential and probability for much more success and achievement.

My Favorite Place at Home - A Global Healing Exercise

How could a room in your home reflect Global Healing? How about your living room, dining room or kitchen?  The breakfast, lunch or dinner table?  Maybe it's the backyard.  It could even be plants or pets!  Please feel free to think about and add other spaces you frequent and share.   Share your discoveries!  We'd love to hear your discoveries! Here are a couple examples from members of our board: One of my favorite places to be in my house is my bed - I love to spend time with my cat Paxton there. The blankets each have meaning, the orange one on top was made by my paternal grandmother, the next one down is from El Salvador where we lived for three years, under that is a gift from my daughters a wool blanket made by a native American crafts person. Around me are paintings by ...

So much of our lives are spent in keeping other people out. We have private rooms, private houses, private clubs and so on. Of course, there are times  when everybody needs to be alone. Yet there is a sense in which our size as human beings can be measured by the circles we draw to take other people in. The smaller the circle, the smaller the person. A strong person isn't afraid of people who are different. A wise person welcomes them. By shutting them out we deny ourselves the riches of other people's experience. We starve our minds, and harden our hearts. When we name our brothers and sisters  we draw no circle smaller than the first one ever drawn on the earth.                                                            - Anonymous
